Before starting dental treatment you should decide if you like the color of your teeth and if you have any plans to whiten them in the next 5 to 10 years. If you are planning to get your teeth whitened, we highly recommend you get your teeth whitened first and allow 2 to 3 weeks for stabilization of the color prior to getting fillings, veneers, or crowns done.
The color of the composite fillings, veneers, or crowns are chosen according to the color of your teeth (as shown in the image). When you get your teeth whitened, although the enamel of your teeth will change color, the color of fillings, veneers, and crowns will not be affected and thus will not match your newly whitened teeth.
